This interactive session will guide participants through the transition to zero-emission construction logistics, focusing on overcoming the unique challenges in adopting clean technologies for off-road machinery. Experts from policy, technology, and finance will provide insights into the regulatory frameworks, financial mechanisms, and technological innovations that support the shift to zero-emission construction. Participants will engage in an interactive case study, diving into real-world projects and strategies for integrating zero-emission equipment and infrastructure. Through a hands-on mapping exercise, attendees will outline ZE construction implementation plans tailored to their regions, identifying key infrastructure needs and priority zones. By the end of the session, participants will leave with a clear roadmap and connections to global initiatives for further support in advancing zero-emission construction logistics. This session will provide practical insights into developing the necessary charging infrastructure for zero-emission medium and heavy-duty vehicles (ZE-MHDVs), focusing on successful grid strategies, renewable energy integration, and long-term infrastructure planning.
